Oh please Oh Please OH PLEASE DO IT!

In an article that appeared on the Raw Story today (linked below), Texas Governor Rick Perry hinted that Texas seceding from the union was a possibility "if Washington continues to thumb their nose at the American people.."
All I can say is, "OH PLEASE DO IT!" Since I live in probably the only other state making this threat--and being embarrassed about the sheer stupidity of the statement on a daily basis--I can only hope that Texas would make that fatal plunge first.
And hell, they don't even have the natural resource economy to fall back on that we CLAIM we have. Texas would be the American Gaza Strip in less than 3 months. Let those bozo, testosterone guzzling, wannabee cowboys (that's right Chuckie Cheese/Norris, I am talking to you!) secede and let them starve. They would instantly become a northern territory of Chihuahua drug lords. Let's see how tough Chuckie is when Los Zetas show up on his doorstep with state-of-the-art modern automatic weaponry and turn him into Swiss Chuckie Cheese. :)
The mexican army is no match for the drug cartels, you actually think the Texas National Guard could hold its own? Bwahahahahahah!
So, go ahead. Do it. Take your pissing match South of the border and see how long you last without federal oversight, protection, trade agreements, and corporate welfare.
