The Day After!

Obama has won (thank all that is holy) and the day seems brighter already. Here in Alaska, we are in the corrupt political backwaters of the nation (if not the world). We actually re-elected a convicted felon (Ted Stevens), as well as his yet-to-be-convicted partner-in-crime (Don Young). I feel like a live in a Frat House with a bunch of ignorant business majors.

We need a dorm mother (Sen. Harry Reid) to set us straight and protect us from ourselves. Please, Senator Reid, keep your word and boot Teddy out of the Senate. He is an embarrassment to the nation and our state.

And to the DOJ, please, please, please, PICK UP THE PACE ON DON AND BEN! Let's get all this crap behind us and actually start building a common future instead of retirement packages for corrupt politicians.

Tomorrow is another day. Chin up and FIGHT ON!
