So Why Did She Name Him TriG?
Been a lot of brou-ha-ha lately about the use of the word "retard" and a recent episode of The Family Guy--most of the screaming done by a fairly strident former gubner.
Well, I only have one thing to say...
If Ms. Palin is so offended by jokes and comments that refer in some way to people with Down Syndrome, then why in the HELL did she name her kid TriG.
Trisomy G is the scientific name for Down Syndrome. It is often abbreviated as Tri.G. or Tri-G on medical papers and in medical publications.
What kind of mother would do this? There is no way that this association was completely unknown to her... and yet she still chose to name him TriG.
